Todays look is pretty basic and one of my favorite comfortable looks I go to when I don’t want to think to much about what to wear. I don’t have much else to say hope you enjoy the look!
Please join for future updates and posts!
I wasn’t sure how these colors would photograph well but all in all I think they looked pretty good. These are my third pair of American Apparel Four way stretch pants. I like them because they are high waisted and stretchy but still suck in enough where you might need it. I did have to go up in size but I find that aa’s pants can run smaller. The last shot I tried adding a pin to the bow to try it as a bow tie, it might work if I tried a little harder but all in all I think I prefer it in my hair.
I also really love their chiffon blouses the only thing I would change is for them to come in more sizes and not just one size fits all. They are extremely long which makes it difficult to conceal in tight pants. Oh the earrings are also american apparel, alright well until next time!
Todays look is a super comfy and relaxed everyday look, I have grown to love boyfriend jeans. It is somewhat different from my usual skinny jeans but I enjoy the change up on what I am used too.
What do you guys think of Boyfriend jeans? I wish more companies made them with all different materials and shapes, they usually run either too tight in the bottom or look overly big? They are somewhat limited now in the (level of cuteness) in my opinion. These are cool they have some little detailing in the back which I like.
Some of the celebs that I think that wear this trend really well are repeat offenders (in a good way) Rachel Bilson always looks super cute and pairs things together really well. As well as Katie Holmes, Gwen Stefani and Reese Witherspoon. There has to be that great mix/balance of masculinity and femininity and I think these girls usually pull it off really nicely.
Until next time,
I have been into working out for some years now and try to take it pretty seriously. I usually don’t have any problem psyching myself out to get up and workout but the eating area has always required more discipline from me. Anybody who takes your health and fitness seriously knows that you have to plan in advance and well it isn’t always easy! but def not impossible.
I ultimately try and aim for anywhere from 4-6 healthy smaller meals through the day and always aim to incorporate some healthy protein and good carbs in each meal.
here are some of the meals I have been eating lately
I am not where I want to be but I am not where I used to be either!! I try not to get down on myself but try to just stay focused and positive/realistic about change. It doesn’t come over night, something we can/I tend to forget. The main thing you have to remember is that consistency is what develops long-term change.
I keep my mind focused on positive, things and people and people who inspire me to grow. Some of my favorite athletes are Michelle welcome, Chady Dunmore, Jennifer Nicole lee and Lauramustloseweight. They each inspire me in their own way, when I think of it all but one have shared their personal weightloss struggle and the moment they decided to change!
Ultimately you have to want it bad enough and more then the taste of any one food! a person can inspire you/me but as CORNY or Cheesy as it sounds change does really start within.
I workout anywhere from 4-6 times a week and this does vary depending on my goals and where I think I might be lacking. Lately I have been hitting weights like 3-4 times a week and doing some HIT, plyo and interval type workouts. Another important thing is don’t over think losing weight and working out. You just have to get up and do it!! like NIKE:)
Hope this post was helpful, let me know what you guys are eating and doing? I would love to hear what works for you!
until next time xoxo Sophia
So lately I have been in love with bralets and I apologize in advance if my blog gets boring! I tend to find something I like/love and stick with it, until I get tired of it OR a very small amount of fashion/things I LIKE will go into my fashion love file indefinitely. I think it is safe to say bralets is one of them. For me at first I was afraid to try one on, they always seemed like something only very tiny people could get away with, however I always say at least try it on once, you never know whether or not you like something for sure until you give it a try! And now it seems so many more retailers are expanding and making more things to fit all sizes! thank goodness for that:) Anyways until next time, hope all is well.
Todays look is a out to dinner look I would wear to have dinner with the family or on a date with my husband. I love how bralets have made a comeback this season, they are very romantic and lady like pieces that I enjoy. There are really alot of great bralets out there this season and a couple of ways to wear them.On my body my favorite way is with pants or jeans, others look great pairing a bralet with a maxi skirt or even shorts. I did pair my bralet with shorts but I found the high heels was too much vavoom for me. I would pair them with shorts but def with flats to balance out the legs and sexy top.
How would you style this look?
I hope you guys have a awesome weekend! be safe! xoxo Sophia
These are the basics of taking care of your skin, I am no expert I am only sharing with you things that have worked for me. I titled this things your MOM should tell you, well because I think it is up to mothers to teach their daughters how to take care of their skin. If not our mothers then who? we can learn as I did on my own through trial and error. However there is nothing like some fundamental basics, right?
Honestly there is more to taking care of your skin then a skin care routine. To name a few things off the top of my head would be sleep, eating right, limit your caffeine, exercising, no alcohol if you can avoid, and of course obviously no drugs and or smoking! (I know that was a mouthful of a sentence!) Honestly consistency and starting young is key in taking care of your skin, however it is never to late to take care of the largest organ in your body.
Okay back to the skin care routine.
1. You Must cleanse your face with a cleanser in the morning and before bed. Never sleep with make up no matter how tired you are. Make up clogs pores ladies!
2.Toner keeps your skin at the correct ph level. The ph level is important because it protects your skin from harmful bacteria.
3. Moisturizer keeps skin soft and moist and gives it all those nice vitamins.
4.Sunscreen is the number 1 enemy of our skin, and the number one cause of wrinkles! use at least a spf 30. I will use even higher if I plan on being out more in the sun on a particular day. And also don’t be fooled by winter and cloudy days!
4. Exfoliate at least 1 a week, I exfoliate at least twice a week. If your skin is dryer you may not need to do this as much. I exfoliate by using a papaya enzyme mask, and I follow that by using a glycolic peel after. I rinse and put a anti-aging cream before bed.
Your never to young to start taking care of your skin, it Is the largest ORGAN of your body and often the most neglected! We only get one body, so lets take care and appreciate it.
I hope this information has been informative and if you have any questions leave a comment below. I will also be sharing the products I love and use, if you try them and like them let me know, I love to hear feedback.
Until next time XOXO Sophia
I adore these floral trousers from zara, and thought this look is lovely with a peplum top, I tried it on with 4 tops actually and in the end the Teal top from zara won as the best look. I think the teal is a more relaxed look and I would wear the peplum for a more dressed up look. I posted some pics of some very similar looks below. Hope you guys enjoy the look! xoxo Sophia
